• VuseDesk has no client payment rail at all: your customer pays you directly and you record it. There is no VuseDesk balance in the middle and no payout schedule of ours to wait on.
• Subcontractors are not an upsell here. The General Contractor plan carries the bid board, vendor records, COI and W-9 tracking and pay requests, and every subcontractor login is free and never counts against your seats.

What we do about the gap

Everything conceded above is real. What is also real is that a missing feature does not have to become a line on your card forever. Most of it is a build.

• A gap can be built once instead of rented monthly. custom software is the other half of what VuseDesk sells: prebuilt systems and pipelines, or a tool scoped around your own workflow. You see the scope, the price and the ownership terms before anything is built, and the finished system is handed over rather than rented back to you. If Jobber answers a gap with a higher tier, that is a cost that never stops; a build is a cost that ends.
• The workflow comes before the software. We start with how the work actually moves through your company, then build or switch on what fixes it. Sometimes that is VuseDesk, sometimes it is one custom tool, sometimes it is neither and we say so. You can book a 20-minute consult ($199) and find that out before you buy anything from anyone.
• The price does not move when you grow. Two flat plans, five seats included on both, then blocks of five. Client and subcontractor logins are free and are never counted as seats, so adding the people who do the work does not raise the bill. Compare both plans line by line.
• Nothing sits between you and your money. VuseDesk does not process client payments at all, so there is no percentage, no VuseDesk balance and no payout schedule of ours to wait on. You get paid the way you already do and record it against the job.
• Every login sees only its own job. Your client opens a link with no app to install, your subcontractor sees their scope and not your pricing, and your crew sees no money on any screen, ever.
