Compare · Buildertrend
Buildertrend is built for large residential construction operations, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise. Here is where they are genuinely stronger, where we are, and a calculator that runs on your numbers instead of ours.
VuseDesk's side of this table is exact and checkable today. Buildertrend's side sends you to their own sheet on purpose: their numbers change, and a comparison that quotes a competitor's stale price is a comparison you should not trust.
Said here, above the fold of our own argument, because a comparison page that concedes nothing is an ad.
Buildertrend carries selections, warranty workflows and construction accounting depth that a volume home builder genuinely needs. If you are running thirty homes a year with an office staff, they earned that market.
They offer structured onboarding. VuseDesk is designed not to need it: a nine-part setup with the app’s own minute estimates on it, one required step, and a sample job already seeded when you arrive.
Deep PO and RFI workflows are theirs. VuseDesk’s bid board, phases and sub scopes cover the general contractor who manages trades, not the production builder.
We are not going to quote Buildertrend's numbers, because they change and this page should not pretend to track them. Open their price sheet, put their numbers in, and read the year side by side.
Their year, on your numbers$1,788.00
VuseDesk's year$479.88
Card processing is charged by the processor either way and is left out of both sides. Your numbers, our arithmetic; nothing leaves this page.
